The Wedding Marketing Mastermind Group

I am in the coming up to the second quarterly meeting of my wedding marketing education group. I started this group in 2017 as a service for western Washington wedding professionals to participate in group coaching with me on a quarterly basis. Our first meeting was this November 2017 and what I imagined this program to be was elevated by the participants to something I never saw coming!

The initial vision of the group was a day long educational workshop where the participants would have two educational talks from me, then have some time to implement the concepts they just learned. My goal was to create a space to learn and implement all in one. Read more

Are You the CEO of Your Wedding Business?

I recently read an article about the role of the CEO in a business and it really made me ask myself am I the CEO of my wedding business? The more I thought about my role in my business I realized that the way I am operating I am not acting like a CEO, I am basically EVERYTHING from administrative assistant to owner, but not quite CEO. For me this article came at the perfect time to look at the shifts I want to make in 2018 to move toward being the CEO of my business. As you read through I challenge you to ask: Are you the CEO of your wedding business? Read more

New Year, New Goals!

I cannot believe I am sitting here writing about my goals for 2018. I feel like 2017 went by in the blink of an eye! For me, the year was a whirlwind because we had a new baby to enjoy plus all of the activities that come with our older two daughters. In June 2017 I launched Cheers Consulting Group and was pleasantly surprised with the response. So, my MAIN focus in 2018 is to grow this little business into something more.

Last year I had the honor of being asked to help a number of wedding professionals with their social media marketing and strategic integrated marketing communication planning. Investing money in professionals is a big deal for entrepreneurs, so I was truly humbled that they trusted me with their businesses. I am looking forward to having this same joy in 2018.

I always like to start the year with my goals written out in a blog post. It helps me stay accountable and it is fun to look back at the end of the year to see how I accomplished those goals. So, the following are my goals for 2018 for Cheers Consulting Group. Read more

The Mission of Cheers Consulting Group

Welcome to Cheers Consulting Group! Thank you for stopping by!

I wanted to spend my first blog post outlining the mission of CCG and what you can expect from me.

I am a wedding planner and the founder of The Skagit Wedding Society in Western Washington. During 2016 I began to realize that there was a lot of demand for the knowledge of how to start a successful networking group. So, in 2017 I will be offering an educational program about creating these types of groups. I will also provide info about intentional and authentic networking practices that can truly grow your wedding business.

I hope you will come back often to learn how to create your dream wedding business through personal connection and intentional and authentic networking.
